I like Buffy I guess.  I am more into Smallville but I have only seen episodes 1-5
I just finished reading True and False by David Mamet, I really enjoyed it.  I have just begun a book called Bhagavad Gita.

I can’t read ... not that i can’t .. i can .. but i can’t ... what i mean is i can’t focus on reading cause I get distracted easily ... so i am more of a visual person ... i like reading on the computer ... maybe that is why i have -4 stigmatism in my eyes !

I am reading Arthur C Clarke’s “2061:odyssey three”.  I enjoyed the other books/movies from this series.  Ummm… on a side note does anyone know where I can get “2010:the year we make contact” on DVD I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

I used to read RL Stein, and he’s great. But he didn’t write Harry Potter. A woman by the name of JK Rowling wrote those books, which are also great.

But I digress, I just finished a book that was amazing. Really cool and about superheroes. It’s called “Soon I will be Invincible” by Austin Grossman. He’s super-awesome. I really liked it because it was told, in first person, by two characters a hero and a villain. The novel took you into the minds of two very different types of people and braught insight to the differences between those who turn to the dark side and those who fight in the light.

I highly recommend it! 5 stars!

I have my own blog where I write about what I read, starting in January of ‘08. I read a lot, so it’s gotten quite long. The address is: ladyrhian.blogspot.com, and the name of the Blog is “Deep Thoughts”.... partially named as an homage to Deep Thought from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and partly because it was going to be about my ramblings… but books was easier to keep up with.

I am in book two of the Coroscant Nights series from Star Wars…

Book one was was pretty good… The author brought back some original characters from the Medstar Duology… This series takes place at the tail end of the Jedi purge… not many left.

Book Two is not as good so far… but that is mostly because they have pushed in some “popular” characters. Typho (body guard for Padme) and Aura Sing (bounty Hunter that got 2 seconds of screen time in EI). Typho has been reduced to a love sick broken hearted whiney character (he misses poor dead lost love Padme - WTF?!?!) and Vader has sent the Bounter Hunter Aura Sing after Jedi Jax…

At the same time, I am reading the novelization of Daredevil… I am a huge fan of DD… and the book is definately better then the movie… lol

I’m currently reading a bood called, “Please Kill Me”.  Although it sounds morbid, it’s actually the oral history of the Punk music scene.  Very interesting, as instead of being a story, it’s actually little snip-its from interviews with people who were actually there.  For instance, there’s a portion where Iggy Pop talks about his first time seeing the Doors play.  Not to mention commentary by Andy Warhol, Joey Ramone and Nico.  Pretty sweet read.  Very quick read too.

Serpent in the Thorns by Jeri Westerson, a medieval noir mystery involving a disgraced former Knight who has become “The Tracker” a sort of private detective.
